Do you have a solid understanding of Life Cycle Assessment, data verification and analysis, or do you have solid experience in auditing? Do you find it challenging to ensure the quality of data used to document the energy saving potentials of products and applications? Then the position as Sustainability and LCA Expert at Danfoss Public Affairs & Sustainability team might be the opportunity you are looking for. You will play a key role reviewing and ensuring the quality and reliability of the claims and data used in our internal and external communication. You will become part of a team of seven competent and dedicated colleagues working with teams across Engineering, Product Management, Sales, Application Support, Marketing and Public Affairs. Your colleagues are primarily located in Nordborg, Denmark, but the position can be anywhere in Europe. You can expect 20-25 travelling days a year. Ensuring the quality and trustworthiness of our data You will report to the Head of Public Affairs & Sustainability, and your primary objective is to establish methods and systems for the verification of climate and energy related claims, promises and data used when marketing Danfoss’ products towards customers and other external stakeholders. Your key tasks comprise to: •Verify the data and document assumptions and calculations •Establish a solid basis for Danfoss’ “proof stamps” used in e.g. advertising material •Work with colleagues and stakeholders in our organisation in developing an external communication Furthermore, you will work on documentation in relation to Danfoss’ overall impact on society and support and a broad range of targets relating to Sustainability and Public Affairs. Strong knowledge of data validation and/or auditing and solid communication skills You have an educational background preferably at Master’s level as engineer or business analyst, and most importantly you have a strong knowledge of LCA, data validation and quality assurance. Through your previous jobs, you have obtained a solid experience with LCA, quality assurance, auditing, a wide range of different technologies and applications. You can quickly establish an overview of complex datasets and put your finger at “the weak spot” in calculations and claims. You have excellent communication skills and possess a good understanding of other cultures. Moreover, you work independently, systematically, and are result-oriented, and at the same time, you are a good team player. Last but not least, you speak and write English fluently.
