We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to a temporary 12 months position within the research area of pharmacokinetics (PK) and pharmacokinetic-pharmacodynamics (PKPD) modelling. The position is open in the Department of Pharmacokinetics within Haemostasis and Vascular Pharmacology and is located in modern facilities in Maaloev, north-west of Copenhagen. About the department The Pharmacokinetics department is engaged in research activities directed towards the discovery of new drug candidates for the treatment of bleeding (or haemorrhagic) disorders, growth hormone deficiency and diabetes complications. The Job We offer an exciting and challenging 12 month temporary position with good professional as well as personal development opportunities. You will find yourself in an inspiring and engaging environment, working with highly qualified and motivated scientists in multidisciplinary teams. In these teams, you will contribute with expertise in the PK(PD) area. In your daily work, you will be responsible for planning, execution and analysis of in vivo PK studies for new antibodies and proteins therapeutics in the early research pipeline. Furthermore, you will be responsible for development of PKPD models from the experiments. The laboratory work is performed in close collaboration with the highly skilled technical staff in the department. Qualifications You hold a Ph.D. with a scientific background within pharmacology, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, biochemistry or equivalent. You must be well founded within the area of experimental PK and/or PKPD modelling and have experience in planning and executing experiments in the lab. Experience with PK and PK/PD modelling using Phoenix WinNonlin or NONMEM will be considered an advantage. English should be spoken and written fluently. Finally, since all work takes place in multidisciplinary project groups, your ability to work in a team and excellent communication skills are essential.
