About the department You will be located in the department Regulatory Operations Business Support - you will be responsible for making analysis and management reports supporting not only the Corporate Vice President (CVP) Area Regulatory Operations but the entire Senior Vice President (SVP) Area Global Regulatory Affairs, by making insightful management reports, which require complex understanding of the business processes. Regulatory Operations is a CVP-area consisting of ~170 employees in Denmark and India. The CVP-area is responsible for Regulatory operational activities from labelling development and management, publishing activities, IT projects, support in Clinical Trail Applications, Process improvement and Project Management. The job As our Business Analyst your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain “state of the union” business reports indicating how we are performing as an organisation compared to targets set internally as well as compared to peers & competitors. With your analysis, you will be helping RA adjust its strategic focus throughout the year. These reports will raise several questions, where the Business Analyst is responsible for maintaining the dialogue, getting relevant feedback, challenge data providers and business owners and if necessary adjust the report. In addition, it would be expected that many ideas for improvement emerge from your reports and analysis and that you might be able to define them, and make a case for them towards all the appropriate stakeholders. In addition to this you will be supporting our Senior Business Analyst with generating data driven reports and ad hoc data analysis as well as be involved in the different improvement projects we are initiating - either as a project member or as a project manager. Your first day in your new job will be the 1st of August 2015. Qualifications You hold a relevant master's degree (e.g. in finance, economics, business administration, engineering or similar) with excellent results. You have 3-5 years of experience within business consulting, process optimisation, management consulting or similar. You have strong analytical, mathematical and computer skills with the ability to develop and maintain complex data models in e.g. MS Excel. Project Management experience is a plus. You are fluent in written and spoken English, have strong communication skills and you bring a can-do attitude. Earlier you have successfully handled communication at strategic level, and, as such, you are comfortable interacting with stakeholders at any organisational level and you are used to work across organisational and geographical boundaries. You have a high level of drive, initiative, empathy and persistence and you are result-oriented. In addition, you are ambitious, like to be challenged as well as challenge others in a constructive way.
