For our Operational Purchasing Department within our Service organization in Brande, Denmark, we are looking for an Operational Purchaser to ensure the availability of spare parts needed for servicing our wind turbines worldwide. You will be part of a young and dynamic team, eager to fulfill Supply Chain Managements responsibility for supplying spare parts to our colleagues in the regions. What are my responsibilities? As an Operational Purchaser your main responsibilities will be to handle all operational tasks related to purchasing in order to contribute to a smooth and effective management of our daily business. More specifically, your main responsibilities will be to: Create, maintain and follow up on purchase orders Manage own portfolio of suppliers related to operational purchasing, i.e. fulfill customer demands and secure high delivery performance. Participate in cross-functional work groups to secure high delivery performance (e.g. commodity meetings, process teams, supplier meetings etc.) Establish and support development and continuous improvement on key suppliers as well as internally within the area of operational purchasing. What do I need to qualify for this job? You have as a minimum a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or the like, combined with good experience in procurement, logistics and/or freight. Preferably, you are familiar with Lean processes. As a person you are proactive and structured with strong coordination and interpersonal skills. You are a dedicated team player thriving in an intercultural environment as well as a skilled communicator with an excellent command of Danish and English orally and in writing. In addition, you are familiar with the most prevalent IT applications, e.g. the Microsoft Office suite and ideally SAP. In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated. What else do I need to know?
