Do you want to set your mark in the way we will access our offshore wind turbines for Service going forward? Then you may be our new Aviation Specialist. As an Aviation Specialist you will be responsible for the effective identification of helicopters and aviation infrastructure to support Siemens Wind Power Service offshore logistical requirements in order to fulfil service and maintenance contracts. What are my responsibilities? · Support to the tender and quotation processes for the supply of helicopters, following Siemens supplier pre-qualification process · Support to the internal Limit of Authority process regarding aviation solutions highlighting potential risks, budget calculations and pricing strategy · Assess the safe access and egress to site for helicopter transfers, provide input to any engineering controls required to meet this requirement · Monitor change in aviation law to ensure that Siemens remains compliant by engaging with all key stakeholders · Work closely together with other aviation specialists to identify and employ the highest levels of safety and efficiency for each project’s individual scope. In general act as Service Wind Power’s representative in Siemens’ Aviation Group What do I need to qualify for this job? · You possess the right mix of operational and administrative aviation experience. As a result you know what happens in the field but are also well-versed in the back office / administrative work associated with helicopter operations. E.g. you can demonstrate experience in making tender documentation and negotiating aviation contracts · You are familiar with the standards and policies defined by EASA and relevant NAA and other associations · You are proactive and self-driven and know how to manage an aviation project in a safe and reliable way. In general you are a driver in preserving and enforcing an environmental health and safety culture In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
