Health & Safety Engineer, Vestas Wind Systems A/S, Group QSE – QSE EMEA Manufacturing Blades in Lem (Denmark) We are looking for a Health and Safety Engineer for our QSE EMEA Manufacturing department in Lem. If you are motivated by balancing the needs of the business and driving the continued focus on Health & Safety this could be your next challenge. You could be eg. an Occupational Therapist(ergotherapy), Physiotherapist or similar with a profound interest in Health & Safety. Responsibilities: Support the factory manager and the organization in all questions related to HSE Follow-up and coordination of incidents and accidents investigation and corrective actions Identify and establish needed HSE training to the organization Assure internal assessments of hazards and risks Communicate HSE related matters to the organization Facilitate the implementation of HSE Management System, minimum fulfilling laws and regulations, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18 001 and Vestas procedures. Contact point for relevant authorities, including internal and external audits and review Collate and report HSE data internally, towards authorities and to BU and Group reports Drive safety culture Qualifications: BSc/MSc degree or similar – eg. Occupational Therapist or Physiotherapist Experience with HSE will be preferred Fluent in Danish and English - both written and spoken Able to communicate on different levels, ranging from shop floor to management Authority to guide colleagues; be a role model Knowledges about Safety and Environment Hands on mentality, pro-active approach Technical understanding; preferably experience in manufacturing / technical environment Preferably experience from "High safety focus" industry Auditor, ISO 14001 or OHSAS 18001 prefered but not a requirement Competencies: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Good at organizing and coordinating. Able to communicate at all levels in the organization.
