For our Hub Team in the Technology Department we are looking for an experienced Hydraulic Engineer to create and design new hydraulic applications. The Hub team is a cross-functional team which is responsible for the design of the complete hub consisting of: casted hub, spinner, pitch system, hydraulic pitch unit, blade bearings etc. Being a hydraulic engineer is a cross functional position which involves a lot of stakeholders. You have the responsibility of the complete hydraulic system in the turbine, more specific it covers hub, nacelle and generator. What are my responsibilities? · Create and design new hydraulic applications · Create detailed documentation and specification · Simulate chosen solutions in Matlab/Simulink · Root cause analysis · Create specifications for hydraulic system tests · Participating in cost-out projects · Monitoring turbine performance · Being in close contact with suppliers and development partners What do I need to qualify for this job? · You have a Master or a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar background combined with min. 5 years of hydraulic experience · You have hands-on experience with handling hydraulic trouble shooting, and you are familiar with relevant standards · Turbines experience will be an advantage · You are structured and detail-oriented, and you have a systematic and quality-oriented approach to your assignments · You have the ability to work under pressure while handling multiple simultaneous tasks and to interface with numerous parties · You possess excellent communication and English skills both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
