The implementation of our ERP system (IFS) has also demonstrated the need for right quality of Master Data across Maersk Drilling. We Offer That is why we are looking for a skilled Master Data Quality Analyst who can enhance our capabilities within this area; and help us take a 360 degree view on the data. Reporting to the head of the MDM Competence Center, you will join a dedicated team with high degree of interaction with all functions in Maersk Drilling who request analyses of Master Data in a number of situations: 1. As a basis for decisions regarding business rules, standards and use of Master Data, and for clean up or enrichment activities. 2. To assess the quality of Master Data to evaluate if the work (cost) of governance of the data can be justified. 3. Provide a wide range of stakeholders such as end users, Master Data maintainers and owners, Business Process owners/experts, BI Competence Center or ERP project with high quality ad hoc analyses. Maersk Drilling is considering to acquire MDM tools. In this situation the MDM Competence Center will be key in driving the selection, analysis and implementation of a tool and also assume an expert role of the tool. Key Responsibilities • Work closely with business stakeholders to provide insight into the quality of their Master Data, and ensure that evaluation of Master Data quality is done in a uniform and fact based way • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify, define and document MDM KPIs that will drive the right behavior; and also help them identify appropriate actions based on the KPIs • Guide business stakeholders in areas of (Master) Data cleansing and enrichment • Set up/run MDM KPI dashboard in close collaboration with BI Competence Centre • Lead/participate in an MDM tool implementation project • Set and document requirements to MDM tool(s) based on business requirements/challenges • Configure MDM tool(s) to reflect business rules and process flows in close collaboration with Information Architect and business users Who we are looking for We are looking for an experienced Data Quality analyst who enjoys the challenge of providing data that can be used to provide a solid foundation for decision making across the enterprise. You enjoy working with a number of different stakeholders who have requirements that may be both unclear and contradictory. You can challenge the users’ requirements and help them obtain new insights, based on your thorough understanding of MDM and its benefits. You like to lead challenging ad hoc Master Data investigations and different MDM analysis projects. You thrive with transforming user requirement into facts and figures; and you are excellent at guiding users in visualizing the metrics and KPIs in graphs, overviews etc. You have 3-5 years’ experience in a Data analyst role, e.g. as BI consultant or Master Data Manager in an enterprise setting. We expect that you have a relevant academic background within Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent. You have strong analytical skills and a thorough understanding of MDM and its benefits. Experience with single or multi domain MDM tools will be an advantage as will experience with IFS.
