Are you driven by developing strategies and facilitating new solutions to obtain a 40% reduction in cost of electricity from offshore wind, and are you analytically minded and ready to take a hands-on approach and make things happen? Join us as Lead Business Developer in our Wind Turbines Product Line which combines commercial and technical opportunities, enabling us to reduce the cost of wind power by 40%. The objective of the Wind Turbines Product Line is to ensure the developments of standardised turbine solutions to benefit cost reductions in a portfolio perspective as well as to ensure that project specific adaptations and implementations of the solutions are manageable. Wind Turbines Product Line is part of Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. You should, however, expect some travelling in Denmark and Northern Europe in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Lead Business Developer, your primary tasks will be the development and hands-on support of the wind turbines product line strategy and overseeing the successful implementation of this. You will initiate, provide analyses and drive measures aiming at fulfilling the objectives of the product line and prepare material for senior decision makers as well as ensure follow-up and reporting, whilst assisting your Product Line Manager. Moreover, you will develop the product line strategy and facilitate the development of ideas, and you will drive strategic analyses related to investment and optimisation cases and the development of value increasing concepts. You will also drive and optimise business cases, including scenarios, risk and valuation, and you will coordinate and review business case assumptions. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: . ensure collaboration and alignment with a broad range of key internal stakeholders within your specific focus area(s) . carry out analyses and projects related to tactical or strategic activities . prepare presentations to senior management decomposing complex issues into simple elements, eg in power point . ensure development, implementation and administration of efficient follow-up and reporting. Your profile You have a relevant technical or commercial education at master or bachelor level and experience with business development and implementation of new strategies and solutions. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you have good English skills and speak and write English fluently. In addition, you have excellent communication skills and are able to communicate well with colleagues at all organisational levels. You respond positively and robustly to change and work result-oriented with an analytical and structured problem solving approach. You deliver high quality products with accuracy and meet short deadlines. Moreover, you liaise with oppositions and challenges with a constructive and appreciating mind-set.
