For this reason we are seeking 3 new colleagues to join our strong and dynamic team of Service Engineers. Presently, we are 11 colleagues who perform services that support maintenance in order to secure the best plant availability to our customers all over the world. Detailed Description Maintenance and inspection of plants worldwide As part of the Customer Service Maintenance team you will service mechanical equipment and perform inspections of cement plants. We carry out state of the art measurements and comprehensive inspections of key machinery and subsequently give recommendations to support our customers professionally. More specifically, you will have a string of tasks, e.g.: • from total plant audits to comprehensive inspection of single machines • emergency troubleshooting • supervising repair and installation jobs • technical reporting and presentations • sales support During your first years of employment, you can anticipate up to 160 travel days as you will be trained in our service business on location. Over time you will play a vital role in our Technical Service Centre in Copenhagen in order to ensure compliance with FLS procedures throughout our local services centres. Within 3-4 years you should have obtained thorough knowledge of cement and minerals plants enabling you to take part in the development of new service programmes and concepts. The job holds the possibility to teach at seminars where we advise our customers on maintenance and repairs. The expected number of travel days will vary and may be reduced considerably in case you have high level competences in fields that support our long term development goals of establishing a global technology centre. Job Requirements Engineering degree specialised in Mechanical Construction You have an Engineering degree at minimum Bachelor’s level specialised within mechanical construction, or you could be a Bachelor of Technology Management and Marine Engineering. From previous positions you have gained solid knowledge of equipment and service solutions enabling you to work with areas such as sales and basic economics. It could benefit your application if you hold specific,advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems maintenance or advanced welding technology including hard facing/refurbishment. Moreover, you have excellent IT competences. As a person you have a keen eye for comprehensive solutions. You thrive on handling complex challenges and working independently as well as part of a team. As you will gain a broad contact network consisting of both colleagues and customers, you must be a skilled communicator and possess solid interpersonal skills. Since you will be performing in an international environment, you preferably master another foreign language besides English.
