In FLSmidth’s Customer Service unit we are looking for an Operations Manager to join a team of 14 motivated colleagues. You will enter a department where you and your colleagues function as our customers’ daily business partner to provide the right spare parts and best services. Detailed Description First class service all along the line Your overall task is to coordinate and optimise the proposal work and order execution within and across our sales teams. We have 5 sales teams covering EMEA and APAC, each team has a designated Operations Manager to ensure continuous improvements and operational excellence. You will be working closely together with our Sales Support in India, Technical Departments as well as procurement and shipping functions. Specifically, you will: × Ensure workflow optimisation of proposal and order by applying LEAN, SixSigma etc. × Take the lead in driving cross-functional improvement projects × Drive performance management, define and follow-up on KPI´s × Communicate, handle and organise parts and service cases within the organisation The work location is at our headquarters in Copenhagen. Job Requirements Commercial mindset and preferably an Engineering degree Your ability to foresee and solve potential problems will be essential for your success in this position. You are most likely a Global Business Engineer, or you have a comparable background. Your degree is supplemented with experience from a position in which you have sharpened your process optimisation competences and gained a LEAN mindset. You are proactive and have a structured approach to your tasks, enabling you to handle several initiatives at the time. Colleagues know you as a person with a positive attitude, who is able to deliver in time although the pace is high. In addition, you have a cross-cultural understanding and can communicate with people of different nationalities and professional backgrounds.
