Location Valby Organization Name FLS Group Business Solution (IT) organization Professional Area IT - Project Management Department Description GBS Project Manager Group Business Solutions operates as global Business and IT Solutions provider to enable FLSmidth business execution and development through reliable and cost-efficient business processes and IT solutions & technologies GBS Project and Engineering Solutions is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of projects and change requests within Business Intelligence (BI), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Sharepoint & Microsoft (MS) based solutions, and Integration (e.g. ESB integration platform, MyFLS platform) for users across FLSmidth. The unit is headed by General Manager Hans-Henrik Levy and has employees across Denmark, India and Unites States. Brief Description Do you have the right skillset to lead complex IT business systems projects in a global matrix organization? We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager who naturally takes leadership of complex projects and ensures efficient and successful completion. You need to navigate across borders and cultures to ensure delivery on time, cost and scope, as well as being able to fluctuate between managing complex technical tasks/IT teams, vendors and business stakeholders within our organization. You will be handling project stakeholder management and communication, and in leading the Project Board you will be tracking/reporting on progress of both IT and business change delivery in the project. The position is Part of GBS 'Sales, Collaboration & BI Solutions' global delivery unit (DK, India, US) and will be reporting directly to the global head of the unit. Detailed Description The primary responsibility in this role are to Lead and manage projects towards on-time delivery within scope and budget, by: · Driving all phases of the projects, including definition of scope and objectives as well as ensuring technical feasibility. · Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. · Ensuring resource availability and allocation. · Developing a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress across all business and IT activities. · Managing changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques. · Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. · Communicating, reporting and escalating to management/Steering committee as needed. · Successfully managing the relationship with all stakeholders and vendors. · Performing risk management to minimize project risks. · Creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. As 70% of our internal resources are based in India, and our customers are placed worldwide, some travel activity should be expected (typically 20-60 travel days per year). Job Requirements Qualifications include • Solid educational background, preferably Master or Bachelor's degree in the fields of e.g. engineering, computer science/IT, business administration, economics. • Proven working experience in project management in handling large/mid-size projects in the information technology/business systems area. • Minimum 7-10 years of proven project management experience. • Solid and proven business understanding required, i.e understanding of a project's business, strategic and organizational context and ability to navigate the project/set direction accordingly. • Advanced-user IT skills, MS office, MS-Projects or similar project planning tool. Knowledge of MS SharePoint. • Excellent Stakeholder management and communication skills. • Proficient English skills, verbal and writing. • PRINCE II certification as well as Agile/Scrum experience or certification would be preferred.
