Do you enjoy working in the offshore subsea environment? Join us and become Inspection Repair & Maintenance Manager in the Subsea Operations department, which is responsible for carrying out safe and efficient subsea IRM operations to safeguard the integrity of structures, pipelines, subsea production systems and offloading systems. The department is a part of Exploration & Production, which has 700 employees and is one of four business units within DONG Energy. We explore for and produce oil and natural gas. Today our activities are centred in the seas off Denmark, Norway and the United Kingdom, and we have an ambitious growth strategy with many exciting projects in the pipeline. You will be based at our office in Gentofte, Copenhagen. However, as many of your activities will be in Esbjerg, you should expect some travelling. Areas of responsibility As IRM Manager, you will primarily be responsible for our diving, ROV and, to some extent, survey activities. You will also be responsible for emergency pipeline repair contingency planning, oil spill contingency planning for selected internal clients and execution of the above structural subsea inspections. In addition, you will provide vessel company representatives and facilitate communication and cooperation across disciplines and organisations. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •negotiate and recommend contracts •set up and maintain standards, procedures and manuals and advise on subsea and maritime activities •ensure quality of data and reporting and efficient interface with stakeholders •act as budget holder on IRM activities and report to the Subsea Operations Manager •acquire and maintain excellence knowledge within your area of responsibility. Your profile You have an engineering background and several years of experience from the offshore oil and gas industry within diving, ROV and general marine operations as well as experience as a manager of people. As we operate in an international environment, it is essential that you speak and write English fluently. Moreover, you are a great team leader and communicator, enabling you to communicate your expectations and results to your stakeholders. As a person, you have a structured and analytical approach to your work, and you thrive on creating results. You are capable of maintaining an overview while keeping track of details, and you can work both independently and in teams.
