For our Project Site Execution department, we are looking for a Head of Site Planning who is ready to manage a professional team with a strong team spirit. You will become part of an international functional management that includes team employees in Vejle, Hamburg and Manchester. What are my responsibilities? • The daily management of the department, which includes employees in Vejle, Hamburg and Manchester. • Manage and develop the department according to the Project Site Execution strategy • Lead a group of site planners that prepare manning plans for all off-shore projects • A master planner that coordinate with subcontracting team and internal resource coordinators to ensure all required competences are available on site • Coordinate with our costumer (Internal projects team) in procedures to optimize the manning request to site resources. • Continuously develop the standards for manning in order to reduce costs • Ensure consistency across projects • Budget/investment overview • Lead, mentor and train team members What do I need to qualify for this job? • You have a strong background with a minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in planning combined with solid management experience • You have a deep insight and experience in the area of “production planning”, coordination of projects, facilitate internal developments projects, cost transparency, business case calculation • Furthermore, you have advanced project as well as management skills and you have gained first experiences in leading international teams • As a person, you are proactive, adaptable, analytical, decisive and result-oriented with noticeable intercultural, networking and team building skills • Finally, you are a good negotiator and you possess excellent English skills, both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
