Group Corporate Centre (GCC) & Group Function IT (GFIT) GCC secures best-in-class strategic and financial frameworks and processes as well as providing professional services and advice within our areas of expertise. At the same time GCC supports the Group to become more efficient providing common infrastructure, processes and services to harvest the full benefits of scale. While supporting the business, the aim is to realise the potential for greater efficiency. The COO organisation has been created to fully implement one operating model by harmonising processes and services to support the simplification and compliance activities. There is a COO organisation in each business area and one in Group Functions to manage operational risk and compliance activities in the first line (BRIS), IT, operations and simplification in the respective areas. Group Functions IT is a division responsible for the full IT value chain in Nordea Group Functions. We have the responsibility for development, maintenance and operations of all IT applications in Group Functions. We have taken a step forward in integrating IT even closer to business by transferring Business IT related tasks from Group Finance and Reporting into Group Functions IT to drive the future integration of group data and reporting platforms. We team up across the Nordea value chain with our 200+ employees in four countries and 800+ consultants representing our professional global partners, mostly in India The Position The head of Production Assurance (PA) for GFIT is responsible for Quality Assurance, Change Management and Production Services and reports directly to the CIO of GFIT. The Production Assurance organization was created to improve quality, enhance production stability and availability, standardize processes, and provide rigorous governance. In this capacity, you will work in close cooperation with the Head of GFIT and the primary client group, Group Functions Internal Reporting (GFIR) to drive the development and maturation of the service. The manager is expected to bring leadership and strategy to Production Assurance and will be accountable to lead many of the GFIT key deliverables including but not limited to: - Segregation of Duties - Production stabilization - Test management strategy - Change management process and governance - PA portion of the near-shoring agenda Employees in this unit are located in the Nordics, primarily in Stockholm and Copenhagen with plan to extend to Poland as part of the near-shore agenda. The unit also manages a substantial delivery out of India and Riga leveraging our key sourcing partners. The operating model is global, with a strategy to transition much of the off-shore vendor services to a near-shore location. The Head of PA will have 5 to 10 direct reports and be responsible of an organization of 150-200 employees, a combination of employees and outsourced.
