As Linux/Unix Subject Matter Expert in Nordea you are seen as an expert within the Linux/Unix area that will identify, design and proposes complex solutions. The position we offer As Linux/Unix Subject Matter Expert in Nordea you will work with highly skilled and dedicated colleagues in a changing, demanding and interesting business. You will work closely with a platform owner, infrastructure architects and Enterprise architect to develop and maintain the absolute best in class solutions supporting the top tier business critical applications within Nordea. You will be responsible for evaluation and migration to new technologies. The SME will work with other lines of business colleagues to implement the solutions designed to address business needs and will drive a diversity of activities as well as participate in projects and focus groups. You are encouraged to proactively anticipate projects and operational issues before they occur, define the problem, identify possible causes, and work with teams to identify solutions and select and implement the most appropriate solution. As part of Nordea Technical Delivery you will be challenged and we expect you to be innovative and prepared to radically rethink how we work today. The qualifications you need You have experience with multiple Linux/Unix flavours. You have a well-founded knowledge about Deployment, Patch Management, Configuration Management, Capacity Monitoring and experience from Design, Implementation & administration. It is essential that you are flexible, pragmatic and have a holistic view and respect the work of others and understand different approaches to changes between different departments. As a person you possess a strong drive and have a hands-on approach to your work. You want to deliver quality solutions on time and enjoy exploiting new knowledge as well as driving innovation. You have a high skill level of interpersonal communications including diplomacy in coordinating/leading project efforts and your written skills in English are excellent.
