Join us as graduate in the Procurement department which handles sourcing activities for the entire DONG Energy Group. Across two procurement departments, you join a group of 160 skilled and dedicated colleagues. Procurement plays a vital role in realising DONG Energy’s strategy, focusing on both value creation and operational excellence. Procurement covers all categories in all business units, from wind turbines and oil platforms to service contracts and indirect categories, such as IT hardware, lawyers and office furniture. The department is part of our Group functions, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Finance & Services, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. About the graduate programme As a graduate, you complete a 24­month programme in which you will participate in a training programme along with the rest of the graduate batch 2015. During the training programme, you will participate in six graduate courses and rotate three times within our Procurement organisation supporting different areas of the DONG Energy Group. This gives you an opportunity to test your academic skills in connection with specific projects and subjects in different parts of the procurement organisation. Our graduate programme is considered the first step in our high­potential developing programmes. You will develop yourself both personally and professionally, and your ability to be project­oriented and analytical as well as your problem­solving skills will be strengthened. As part of your daily assignments, you will have the opportunity to rotate within different departments in the business area. You will have the possibility of influencing your assignments to match your qualifications and interests. Furthermore, the programme will give you a strong network among the rest of the graduates in the organisation. Your tasks and responsibilities You will be involved in several on­going projects and ad hoc tasks where your main responsibilities are to: - support contract negotiation - give input to sourcing strategies based on strategic directions and market intelligence and build fact base on specific categories - participate in and conduct EU tenders - handle contract management tasks such as: follow-up, reporting and coordination, as well as ensure system uploads and general reporting - build business and market understanding, for instance by monitoring relevant suppliers. In general, we expect you to make use of your commercial and/or legal understanding to ensure optimal solutions in all the projects you are involved with. Procurement is specifically looking for four graduates for our office in Gentofte, Denmark. Which of the four positions are relevant for you will depend on an evaluation of your background and interests. All procurement graduates will – besides the graduate programme – receive specific procurement training involving contract and category management, strategic sourcing, negotiation and tender law. Your profile You have recently graduated with a master's degree within law, supply chain management, international business or the like and have delivered excellent results. You have a maximum of 12 months of relevant professional experience, and you are fluent in spoken and written English.
