Do you want to be a key player in transforming our international B2B business? Join us and become Commercial Excellence Manager in our International Sales B2B unit which is responsible for bringing value-adding energy solutions to customers in our markets in Denmark, Sweden, Germany and the United Kingdom. We are +350 employees in the unit, working out of eight office locations in the four countries. The department is part of Customers & Markets which has 1,600 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. We handle the production from our wind farms and oil and gas fields to the energy exchanges and customers in Northern Europe, and we distribute electricity and natural gas to businesses and private customers in Denmark. You will be based at our office in Virum in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Commercial Excellence Manager, you are responsible for developing and driving programmes that will transform our international B2B business from a commodity-sales business into a solution-selling business. You will report directly to the Head of B2B and will be facilitating the discussions on commercial excellence in the senior management team in the B2B organisation. As the position is new, you will have very good opportunities for defining and shaping the role. As owner of the programme, you will handle development of methodologies, project management and quality assurance of all commercial excellence initiatives. Execution is the responsibility of local managing directors and their commercial excellence champions, and you will be their closest sparring partner and challenger in the process and support them in adjusting generic frameworks to match local needs. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •develop and implement approaches and programmes to deal with the challenges of upgrading current sales force effectiveness and ensure delivery of identified benefits for such programmes •upgrade our approach to customer-level target setting and action plans and play a leading role in the target setting process for the commercial team •collaborate closely with our Products & Pricing International unit to ensure that pricing management tools lead to enhanced margins and profitability •develop, implement and monitor a business intelligence model aiming at driving our customer segmentation and targeting as well as CRM programmes •develop a key customer management process and ensure it is fully implemented by deciding actions for implementation of processes and tools and recommending actions on individual customers to the Head of International Sales B2B, where necessary. Your profile You have either a bachelor of arts or a bachelor of science degree within business administration, marketing or finance and, ideally, you also hold a master of science or an MBA degree. As you have worked several years within management consulting or sales and marketing, you are confident as a trusted advisor to business. Your analytical, strategic and tactical skills are excellent, and your business acumen is solid and well documented. Your leadership capabilities are vital for you to be able to align all relevant business units and functions towards commercial excellence. Therefore, you have a strong track record of successful project and stakeholder management experience, and you are thus able to effectively interact with and project lead multi-functional teams of both commercial and non-commercial functions, such as sales, finance, HR, IT and technology. You muster a thorough strategic understanding of customers and other value chain member needs. Navigating in a change-oriented environment is a motivational driver for you.
