Job Description
Danfoss is looking for a Global Pricing Consultant with experience in a manufacturing industry with a multiple sales channel approach to the market. Main role is ensuring New Product Pricing is set and aligned with strategy, deployed and executed in the regions and implemented in the global pricing tool/systems. New product pricing involves systematic setting and tracking of price levels, which have been agreed with the Launch team. Supporting Price Reviews/projects, communication on the raw materials development towards the sales team and ensuring better price management using the Product Lifecycle Management as a lever, will be a part of the job as well.
Background and skills To be considered for this position, you must have at least a Bachelor’s in Economics, Sales & Marketing or commercial related area as well as strong communication skills in English, written and verbally.
- 5 years of relevant pricing experience working across different regions and cultures
- Strong analytical skills, together with a persistent drive and commitment with focus on timely execution of plans
- Experience with user friendly pricing tools and processes to meet business needs
- Ability to challenge, coach and develop Regional Pricing, Sales Teams, Product Management & Marketing in applying Pricing Principles
- Track record of delivering practical and reliable pricing projects and processes
- Experience with Microsoft Office and BI/SAP Systems
- Ability and willingness to travel when needed
