Are you a strategical project manager who can lead while being hands on with technically intense projects?

Due to our continual growth, we are at a point where we are ready to bring our project management organization to the next level. Therefore, we are collecting our talented project managers into a team, to strengthen the department and thereby the outcome. For this we are looking for a new colleague in the role as Head of Project Management, who is a skilled project manager with a proven track record of managing complex projects through all phases of PM.

Your primary responsibilities

This position will be in the center of execution for all innovative R&D projects that develop our robots.

As Head of Project Management, you will be responsible for the development and management of the R&D project management department through leadership and hands on activities. Your main responsibilities will be:

• To secure all project deliveries and progress
• People management of a growing team of project managers (now persisting of five) incl. competence development
• Owning the planning process of new projects for the roadmap
• To secure for the continuous process improvement and implementation, including communication and implementation of relevant standards

Your team of five each come with different knowledge and perspectives while focusing their resource on product development projects, both within software and hardware. The team tends to work cross functional and with a Stage-Gate model.

Qualification, Experience, Skills & Educational background

The role demands that the ideal candidate has documented practical experience in developing and running an effective project setup. You will be expected to have experience in execution of highly complex projects and creating and implementing a full PMO environment.

In addition to a B.Sc. or higher in Engineering, Computer Science or Project Management you:

• Come with a minimum of 5 years’ experience within Project Management
• Are preferably trained and certified in project management, such as PMI-PMP, PRINCE2, MSP.
• Have a technical mind-set with a genuine interest in technology and automation
• Have solid stakeholder management skills
• Strong communication skills at all levels
• Are motivated by rapid growth and a challenging change agenda

As English is our company language you are expected to be fluent in both written and spoken English.
