Job Description

Danfoss is looking for a Global Financial and Business Controller who will become part of the Finance team in the District Energy Division / Buildings Business Unit. We are covering 9 production plants and are selling through the network of 56 Danfoss sales companies around the world. The best candidate will be responsible for business controlling and financial reporting of the Buildings Business Unit and will have a dual reporting line to the Finance Director and the Business Unit Head. You will work with the existing finance team to prepare and control consolidated full product line reporting. Additionally the candidate will prepare and support business review meetings through analysis and presentations. You will also collect data, calculate global KPI’s on product line level and interact with local plant and sales company Controllers to support and facilitate on processes and tasks. Being responsible for closing budgets and forecasting you will ensure alignment within functions for the entire Business UnitIdeal candidate’s background and skillsTo be considered for this position you must hold min Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and have at least 3 years of experience within business or financial controlling. Business understanding is key, as well as being aware of business processes within accounting and controlling. This will enable you to understand the data and financial results based on business activities and offer you insights for forecasting and having dialogues with business and sales. We need a candidate who can manage the roles of being an analyst and a partner to the business at the same time. Candidates who fulfil additional expectations will have an advantage:

• Coming from international company
• Advanced Excel skills
• Fluent in English
• Knowledge and experience with Hyperion or SAP FI/CO
• Strong analytical competencies, detail orientation, being structured, reliable and proactive
