Kamstrup is a world-leading manufacturer of solutions for smart energy and water metering with production, administration and development gathered at the headquarter in Stilling, south of Aarhus. We are experiencing high growth and demand for our products all over the world. Our global presence in RF based Smart Metering solutions is a core stone in our strategy, and we are therefore looking for an Antenna Specialist that can help secure our position in the global market.
You will become a part of Kamstrup Technology, where you will be working in a professional team with an open culture, high seniority profound knowledge and the ability to act. Together we design and maintain RF based products for our Smart Metering solutions.
A job with focus on antenna solutions of high quality
Selling and deploying products globally requires specific antenna solutions matching the RF characteristics of the product sold for the specific region and hence our large portfolio of RF solutions all requiring specific antenna solutions.
You will be working both in project teams and on individual scheduled tasks with interfaces on various organizational levels.
In the job as an Antenna Specialist, the primary content of your job profile contains:
• Conceptual antenna solutions for next generation products
• Design and maintain compact antennas embedded into our products
• Verification of antenna solution performance
Kamstrup has invested in a fully equipped RF measurement facility for antenna performance measures, which will be a part of your everyday toolchain.
Personality matters
We are looking for a candidate who strive for results and who dare challenging technology and existing solutions while remaining professional doing it - all with the goal of securing the technology leadership of the Kamstrup Smart Metering solutions. You work theoretically with your solutions and find it natural to qualify them in real life situations. Trust and communication are a part of the inner you, and hence you find it natural to meet people across organizational levels as well as working as a team-member. You find challenges and changes exciting and meet such with a smile and your professional opinion.
You have a solid experience of at least five years within the field of antenna designs and have an engineering degree to support it, most likely a M.SC. within RF technology. Furthermore, it is considered a plus if you have experience within CST and ADS simulation as well as broader knowledge in RF that goes beyond the antenna design.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, both written and orally. Danish is considered an asset.
