Do you want to play a key role in the global media & marketing function for the LEGO Group?

Would you like to manage the global relationship with our media agency? Are you experienced in activating brand or media strategies?The LEGO group is currently looking for an experienced Global Media Manager to join a team that is driving our marketing transformation in a highly dynamic and changing media landscape. This role will play a pivotal role in making that transformation in communications planning happen.

Your specific tasks include:

• Manage the operations related to the commercial relationship with the global media agency (eg manage agency KPI’s, be involved in commercial negotiations, drive processes, etc)

• Manage the global internal media network, including communicating key information, learnings and best practices related to the media discipline

• Collaborate with key global, regional and local stakeholders in the development and activation of media plans, including working with Product Groups, The Lego Agency and the local markets on media playbooks

• Support the development of a global media strategy for the LEGO portfolio of franchises, based on insights on consumers and shoppers, along with other members of the global media management team

• Support building media planning and buying capabilities in the organization

Challenges and Opportunities

This role will support the global marketing organization by providing high-quality strategic media guidance and be a sparring partner to the global, regional, and local teams. By adding capabilities to the function, we will raise the bar for the quality of media planning and buying across The LEGO Group. We have a real opportunity to work with our media agency to deliver better service and insights and adopt effective global processes and tools as they become available. This role will also manage operational tasks related to media agency management (e.g. commercial discussions alongside Procurement and Finance) and collaborate with various stakeholders throughout the organization.

Do you have what it takes?

• Experience within a global media agency, internal media management or from brand/product marketing for a known brand

• Proven record of activating brand or media strategies for a leading brand

• Functional expertise in marketing planning and media strategy

• Experience in working across global, regional and local functions

• Digital marketing competencies would be beneficial

• Bachelor’s degree; Master’s degree an advantage
