Would you like to lead the quality assurance efforts inside the R&D department of a fast-growing, successful and market-leading robotics company? Then you could be the Test Manager that Universal Robots is looking for. About the job: You will be responsible for developing and leading a dedicated quality assurance team inside our R&D department. The quality assurance team is responsible for continuously asserting the quality of our robots before they are released to production. A universal robot is not just a beautiful product, but also highly specialized software and an intuitive user interface (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQj-1yZFEZI). While our R&D specialists develop and test many small parts - the role of you and your team is to test the whole package. It is your responsibility to organize an efficient quality assurance team. We trust that you will be able to optimize the function. We recognize the importance of frequent and efficient regression testing; therefore we already have automated test setups in place (simulated and physical). You and the rest of the team must have a strong passion to continue along this path. Your qualifications: The person we are looking for is a passionate Test Manager capable of demonstrating the following: - Experienced to organize and lead a quality assurance team. - Experience with automated testing of software and hardware. - Experience with release management. - Fluent in written and spoken English. It is more important for us to find an experienced Test Manager than it is to find someone with a strong robotics background and a deep knowledge of all the technology we use. However, it is a bonus if you have experience or interest in some of the following: - Usability testing. - Testing of electronic or mechanical products. - Testing of complex user interfaces. - Linux and basic scripting.
