You will join our Corrosion, Repair & Inspection team (CRI) in our Technical Department in Esbjerg, Denmark. Here you will be surrounded by dynamic, experienced and enthusiastic colleagues. CRI is responsible for inspection, management of data, planning, as well as replacement, maintenance and repair work of pressurised vessels and topside piping systems on offshore locations. You will be working within CRI’s area of responsibility in a highly independent position where you will occasionally travel to sites both onshore and offshore. Key Responsibilities Ensuring integrity of topside piping systems, your responsibilities will be: • Planning, follow-up and reporting of inspections and audits in coordination with onshore and offshore personnel • Risk based assessment and establishment of inspection programmes • Evaluation of inspection findings, including recommendations on immediate way forward • Assisting with failure analysis such as analysis of corrosion mechanisms and causes of breakdown • Planning and implementation of repair, replacements and maintenance jobs • Reporting and correspondence with verification body on repairs • Providing, preparing and updating documentation and piping inspection database • Preparation and implementation of recommendations for corrosion-inhibiting initiatives • Developing technology within inspection and inspection methods • Delivering an annual integrity report within your field of responsibility • Manage and maintain Vendor contact Who we are looking for As a person, you are a team player, good at connecting with other people, but also able to take initiative as well as motivate yourself to work independently with high level activities and ad hoc problems. Working systematically and results oriented, you take a structured approach to your tasks and keep a detailed overview of them. • An MSc in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and a wide theoretical background • 1-3 years of work experience within a related field • Knowledge of API standards, materials and scanning methods of piping • Interest in offshore oil and gas production, NDT inspection techniques, risk assessment, materials and corrosion • Your analytical skills are great, just as you have the IT skills to easily learn specialist programmes • You need to be a good communicator in both Danish and English, as you will be writing reports, recommendations and similar in both languages.
