Environmental Monitoring Specialist to New Insulin Filling Facility

The number of people with diabetes is increasing dramatically. Therefore, Novo Nordisk has initiated an exciting project to investigate the possibilities to expand production in Hillerød. The project will have a high degree of complexity with lots of cross organizational and global cooperation. To succeed with this ambitious project we need people with a pioneer spirit who like to build something completely new, have a high engagement level and thrive in a constant changing environment. About the Department The quality department in the project is responsible for setting up and maintaining the Quality Systems, Quality Assurance during construction, qualification and release of Aseptic products. We are also responsible for Regulatory Approvals and purchasing, qualifying and implementing equipment plus processes for the Environmental Monitoring and Cleaning for the new facility. The quality department will have 3 teams: Quality Assurance, Quality System and Environmental Monitoring. Each team will consist of 2-4 people in the beginning - growing to 5 -10 people. The Job You will be part of Environmental Monitoring team and report to the Team leader of Environmental Monitoring. Together with the rest of the team you will be responsible for the entire implementation of the Environmental Monitoring set-up and cleaning processes. This includes equipment purchasing, validation, manning, ramp up and regulatory approvals. The team will work closely together with the vendors, the engineering partner and the other teams in the project. Qualifications You hold a Master’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Pharmacy or similar and have solid experience from the pharmaceutical industry, ideally in an international setting. In addition, you have 2-5 years of experience with one or more of the following areas: Environmental Monitoring, cleaning of production facilities, aseptic production, purchasing and implementation of production equipment or validation of production equipment and processes. It is crucial that you are able to network, collaborate and work at a high professional level, both internally and externally. You are expected to work both independently and in teams to ensure buy-in from key stakeholders. As you will be part of the team starting up this area, in our project, you can look forward to setting the standard for where we are going.
