Frontend development of fitting software for medical devices In your new job you will be part of Oticon Medical R&D consisting of three different development sites: Smørum in Denmark, Gothenborg in Sweden, and Vallauris on the French Rivera. You will be working in a multi-disciplinary product development team together with mechanical engineers, hardware designers, audiologists, embedded system designers and software developers. Interaction with development teams at other Oticon Medical sites, with internal and external subcontractors and with production facilities, will be a natural part of your daily routine. Duties and Responsibilities As Frontend Developer you will be responsible for all frontend software development activities for fitting software for implantable hearing solutions. Your frontend development activities will enable audiologist to create the best fitting between patient and hearing implant. You will: Be responsible for creating the frontend interface enabling the audiologist to link the PC and the sound processor Work with project managers, mechanical engineers, hardware designers, audiologist, embedded system designers and software developers to build features for Oticon Medical’s MS driven platform for fitting sound processors built with, amongst other, WPF GUI framework, Expression Blend and MS Prism. Contribute to the dynamic team of software development with ideas on frontend tools, techniques, and development methodologies. Take the lead in the frontend development Can you make a difference? We expect you to hold a B.Sc. or M.Sc. and have at least 5 years of relevant experience within software development and frontend development. We expect you to be experienced within: WPF component design C# and XAML Expression Blend Working with graphic designs MS prism is a plus SCRUM is a plus As a person you take charge in projects and strive to become an expert within your field of expertise. You possess professionalism and a strong dedication for quality oriented programming.
