For our Electrical unit within the Service Technology Engineering department we are looking for a new colleague who can further improve the back-office support on issues related to the electrical control system.
In the Electrical unit we are responsible for all the electrical components and systems in the installed turbines. Our main activities are: technical support, root cause analysis, design of new solutions and cost out initiatives.
What are my responsibilities?
· Perform support to issues on the low voltage system of the turbine coming in from the installed fleet (electrical power distribution cabinets, turbine control system, cables, sensors etc.)
· Conduct and document root cause analysis on complex failure modes
· Perform hardware and software design changes in cooperation with component suppliers
· Test and validation of hardware updates before role out
· Continuously improve the operation and reliability of the turbine
· Develop and design of after sales solutions
What do I need to qualify for this job?
· An education within the electrical field like electrical engineer, marine engineer or electrical technician
· Experience with electrical installations
· Language skills in English both in speaking and writing
· Being able to travel to sites and inspect components in turbines (approximately 20 days per year)
· As a person you are a good team player, proactive and self-driven
· Enjoy working in a large international organization
