Job Description

Danfoss is on the lookout for a Director of Strategy for Danfoss Cooling Segment. The successful candidate will take on the lead to become a strategic advisor to senior management and will drive and support main strategic initiatives within the Segment. From growth projects; including new business models to internal operational excellence, to M&A activities, you will be an integral part in ensuring the continued and future success of the Segment’s future strategy. 

Background and skills
To be considered for this position, you must have 6-10 years solid experience with a top-tier Strategy Consulting firm, or could be with similar strategy experience from another global company. You must come with a Business or engineering/technology-based university degree. You have strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to lead cross-functional/divisional efforts. Moreover, you identify yourself as a strong communicator, who can convince senior executives, while standing on own ground in controversial discussions.

Areas of responsibilities: 

 

• Drive and support strategic and operational projects at the Segment level as well as in the different businesses and functions
• Ensure a strong M&A pipeline and take a central role in delivering in-organic growth
• Prepare and present decision documents to top executives
• Take-on the project management officer role in large segment-level initiatives
• Become the go-to advisor for the executive leadership
• Drive projects with external consultants
