We Offer An exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer or skilled technical professional to take on ownership of the Loss & Data Management process within the Tyra Asset, Maersk Oil in Esbjerg. In this role, you will get to work in depth with data analysis, reporting and root cause analysis. This means that you will have a very tangible influence on our success as you seek to cut loss and thereby ensure a stable and effective production. We look to you to apply your strong data analysis skills to define and estimate loss and help optimise our efforts. You will join a team of dedicated professionals and become part of the Tyra Asset Department. Here, you will become a key player in coordinating and driving central activities within production loss management, and you are passionate about meeting our ambitious goals. As part of this, you will collaborate with line and production managers as well as across assets. Overall, you will work with the best and have excellent learning and development opportunities within the A.P. Moller – Maersk Group. Key Responsibilities In this position, you provide high quality input to our loss forecasts within the Production Management Section. This involves taking ownership of our asset and cross asset data management as well as data validation, allocation and reconciliation. You report all activities and initiatives back to the Asset Leadership Team, and you make sure they have all the information they need to make informed decisions. More specifically, your tasks will be to: • Drive a continuous improvement process regarding data management, loss categorisation and accounting. • Manage the asset production data base and ensure data quality and consistency. • Contribute to the implementation of new loss management processes. • Ensure quality in daily, weekly and monthly loss categorisation. • Handle surveillance and implementation of data in RCA’s on losses and take action. You drive this process and coordinate across teams, assets and functions. • Manage loss estimates and the representation in the integrated activity plan for all activities. • Assist colleagues with loss forecasting as well as provide input to business plans and budget rounds. • Help drive an incident free environment by contributing to a strong safety culture. This entails ensuring compliance with HSE legislation, company standards and procedures. Who we are looking for As Data & Loss Management Engineer, it is important that you have excellent analytical skills and the core ability to organise large amounts of data. At the same time, you should be able to apply your strong communication, networking and stakeholder management skills as you will be working with several colleagues and internal/external partners. In addition, you have: • Most likely have a background within marine engineering or relevant engineering background at bachelor level. • Experience from a similar/related role. • A background within production operations or other relevant technical area (operational experience would be a plus). • Experience with production forecasting, loss estimation and allocation and a good understanding of integrated process facilities as well as identifying optimisation potential. • Knowledge of opportunity and loss management, and you have previously identified and implemented data acquisition needs to ensure a better understanding of loss. • Good written and spoken English skills.
