Group and Corporate Accounting is responsible for maintaining and developing the Danfoss Group’s accounting principles (IFRS) and participates in corporate projects on development of internal and external financial reporting. You will be joining a team of professional and dedicated colleagues and will be working out of our office in Nordborg. Developing accounting principles and participating in corporate projects As a Corporate Controller working at our corporate headquarters you will enter into a versatile job function. Thus, it will be your mission to maintain and develop the Danfoss Group’s accounting principles (IFRS) but also participate in corporate projects on development of internal and external financial reporting. Specifically, your responsibilities will be: •Maintenance and development of the group’s accounting principles according to IFRS •Projects in relation to development of the internal and external financial reporting for the parent company and group •Business controlling and being sparring partner for the corporate functions as well as following up towards corporate management •Controlling and providing ad hoc advise to the business units of the parent company Danfoss A/S, including following up on compliance with the accounting principles established (IFRS) and corporate procedures •Preparation of annual reports for the parent company Danfoss A/S •Preparation of annual reports for the majority of the Danfoss group’s Danish subsidiaries Our department is also responsible for preparing quarterly reports and consolidated accounts for the Bitten and Mads Clausen Foundation (the parent foundation of the Danfoss group), and we also handle the annual accounts and reporting for a few of the foundation’s other companies. Independent, thorough and solid experience form accounting/auditing You have an educational background as HD, cand.merc.aud or similar, paired with exhaustive experience within accounting and/or auditing. You have a sound understanding of IFRS and know how to apply and adapt general accounting principles across an organisation with a professional yet pragmatic approach. Furthermore, you are familiar with project management and are able to design, develop and initiate a project. You have sound interpersonal skills and are comfortable communicating appropriately at all levels of the organisation, and you are able to work independently. You can communicate effortlessly in written and spoken English.
