Join us to lead a skilled global Project Management team working on a portfolio of construction projects - from the LEGO House in Billund to establishing new sales offices Worldwide. Proactively manage stakeholders and set the direction for your team In this new position, you will have a challenging mix of program management and people leadership for 10 highly skilled project managers based in Billund and Shanghai.Development of the team as well as their project management skills and deliverables are high on the agenda, so a key responsibility is to motivate and set the direction for your team to enable them to deliver strong project execution. As such, your role is to: Support and provide sparring for your team, securing resources, training and education to cope with both daily business as well as future demands Head up resource planning and continuously focus on learning and improving the way we work Ensure that project deliverables are executed in compliance with agreed framework and standards, as well as a holistic transparent approach from a standardised and consistent project process Manage the large number of stakeholders inherent in the projects, reaching proactively out and creating a project pipeline to be on top of future construction projects Contribute to the development and ongoing performance of Global Project Management (GPM) together with the Head of GPM team Help us reach our ambitious goals Working with Corporate Facilities, you will be leading a large global portfolio of strategic projects, including new sales offices, hubs and also projects closer to home such as the International School of Billund and the LEGO House. Through strong stakeholder management, you will transition the team towards a proactive partner role to the business and ensure that we use learnings from previous projects. Due to the global nature of this role, you will be travelling approximately 30-40 days per year. Strong people manager with experience in managing construction projects The key to your success is your ability to lead, develop and engage your team, while proactively reaching out to, managing and aligning projects across stakeholders. To facilitate this, you: Have experience from managing highly complex construction projects, e.g. from a background as engineer, architect, structural engineer or similar Have an advantage if you have program management experience from highly complex construction projects Have cross cultural experience and as such know what it takes to lead from a distance Communicate effortlessly in English and you must have general IT competencies in project management tools Are analytical and structured with the ability to challenge the opinions of stakeholders while keeping and supporting high motivation and respect Join the global LEGO Family In the LEGO Group, we succeed together, and you will be part of a global family where you will collaborate across the LEGO Community.
