Can you optimise the commercial deliverables related to our offshore wind projects? Join us and become Commercial Manager in our Markets & Pipeline department which is responsible for securing the Wind Power development pipeline and early stage development of offshore wind projects. The position is a one-year maternity cover starting 1 August 2015. Markets & Pipeline is part of Wind Power which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You will be based at our office in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. However, you should expect some travelling in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility As Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the commercial deliverables of one or more of our development projects across the DONG Energy footprint. The commercial deliverables cover business case processes, commercial due diligence, delivery of commercial implementation agreements, internal approval processes and reporting. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •negotiate the full suite of development implementation agreements, including grid connection agreements, harbour agreements, offshore property and other commercial agreements, such as consent-related agreements •drive identification and quantification of business case levers together with key stakeholders •maintain strong relationships and regular contact with all business case stakeholders •prepare materials required for internal approvals for our UK development projects •ensure an up-to-date register of project pre-financial investment decision commitments, eg covering procurement, land rights, grid connection agreement. Your profile You have a master’s degree within business administration, finance or legal with a commercial mind-set and a strong interest in financials. You exhibit excellent negotiation skills as well as project management skills, and you communicate effortlessly and smoothly with both internal and external parties. Furthermore, you are independent, demonstrate initiative and are able to drive negotiations. In addition, you can build relationships with other key departments in the company, and you demonstrate an exceptional analytical mind-set and understanding of project management.
