You will be responsible for the “make it happen” part, leading business deliveries across many green field as well as matured initiatives. The position we offer We are entering a major business and IT transformation in Risk Management area within Capital Markets redesigning towards service-oriented approach using loosely coupled services, asynchronous communication and resilient design. We are building systems which are responsible for Risk Management within the whole Nordea. Business requirements impose a lot of challenges – systems are required to be highly scalable, reactive and capable. Our systems operate with millions of deals and terabytes of data. They use thousands of grid cores and produce billions of records. You will be working as a Delivery Manager driving several strong software engineering teams working on the next generation risk systems. We like working in agile process and small teams with close relation to business. You will also have a lot of partners within IT especially with Core Services teams providing basis foundation components. Finally, you will secure stable daily operations of the existing legacy systems and actively manage the major technology and the skills transformation needed to succeed. The qualifications you need You have real hands-on experience and have been directly involved into delivery of big software projects. You are up-to-date with recent technology trends and have extensive experience in the industry. You are keen on using web-scale technologies such as Redis, Cassandra, Hadoop, mongoDB, Kafka, Spark, Docker and microservice architecture and either you are already working with some of these or you would like to. You are passionate about using technology to transform business and proud of your track record of using technology innovation to solve problems and create new opportunities.
