Would you like to play a key role in the further development of Facility Management, sustainability and energy optimisation in Grundfos? Do you want to work globally and optimise good practices between Grundfos companies? And do you like to build and manage building projects? Join Grundfos and Group Properties. We are 2 department heads and a group of highly specialized individuals, responsible for the overall development of Grundfos facilities, and in charge of consultancy and project management when building up new sites, rebuilding, extensions etc. You refer to the Executive Vice President for Operations Lars Aagaard. “You will join an ambitious team consisting of architects, engineers and technicians. We hold great competences in architectural design, construction, technical installation and project management,” Lars says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As Global Facility Manager, you are responsible for managing Group Properties and Facility Management in the Grundfos Group with a focus on energy and water optimisation projects as well as project management. This entails setting the standard for Grundfos facilities in accordance with Group policies and strategies. Furthermore, it is your responsibility to define and deploy the Facility Management strategy and processes within the area of Facility Management and real estate just like you develop and deploy the Global Facility Management network involving facility representatives from all over the world. Another part of your job is to support the Grundfos companies within real estate issues, lease agreements, etc. as well as support them within project management, architectural design and technical consultancy in building and facility projects. This also applies to the Danish facilities in close cooperation with the local Facility Management department. Finally, you handle project management and contracting for all large building projects in the Grundfos group. Your job will take you travelling 30-50 days per year. “You have a lot of collaboration both internally with Group Management, General Managers, Local Facility Managers and other internal stakeholders as well as external consultancy companies and contractors,” Lars explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You have an education as Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer or within Architectural design and a minimum of 10+ years of experience within civil or technical engineering. Furthermore, you have solid experience with facility and project management as well as management experience. You also have experience working on international projects or abroad. Speaking fluent English is a prerequisite and if you know German, it is a plus. “As a person you like to build, you possess excellent communication and cooperation skills and are independent and open-minded. You work in a structured and result-oriented manner and are able to prioritise the tasks at hand and maintain a focus,” Lars finishes.
