Advanced X-.ray technology for on-line industrial applications.

Image analysis, Programming, and software-hardware interfacing (PC-PLC) in connection with development, production, service and troubleshooting of state of the art X-ray technological solutions for industrial applications.   You are expected to have will and abilities to be a part of our software team. In particular, you have a solid background on mathematics, statistics, and physics so that you can undertake the development, analysis and testing of image processing algorithms for a large number of X-ray imaging applications.   You possess skills on developing algorithms, preparing flow diagrams, pseudo-code development and documentation of the various software functions.   You can undertake the C/C++ programming of the algorithms, and merge the resulting functions with libraries and other software parts, including DLL’s, active X components, etc.   It is a fundamental requirement that you have a structured way of working, and that algorithms and software is developed to be robust and functional, in accordance with good programming practice, and the wishes and demands from our clients.

You are good at reporting to colleagues. You see the value in mutual daily (or more frequent) reporting on the status of the jobs you are involved in, towards your colleagues.   Your area of responsibility is the image analysis modules. This involves the initial methodology screening, the specific development, and the interfacing to colleagues involved in the coding (unless you are undertaking this yourself), the code documentation (if applicable), the overall analysis description, and the testing with the product concerned. In addition, you may be involved in the installation, the on-line tests, and their documentation, with the customer.   You will be involved in the specific programming tasks, and depending on the project, you may be involved in the coordination within a team of other software developers. You will however in particular concentrate your efforts on the imaging, data analysis, test, implementation, software structure and other to the extent the group needs.   You must work relative to the InnospeXion software development platforms and standards regarding documentation of the software, control of the software version, and help maintaining the overview of versions and the functioning of the software.   As you develop abilities and experience, you will become responsible for client specific tasks.   An important part of your work is quickly to develop an expertise level regarding the image acquisition details – i.e. on how to ensure that the primary image acquired at all times is of the best possible quality. This requires knowledge on X-ray imaging, X-ray detector technology, geometrical constraints, calibration, timing, and others.
