Ensuring consistent high supplier quality As Manager for Supplier Quality Management you are part of Oticon’s strong Product Quality organization consisting of app. 50 Managers, Engineers and Technicians with various areas of specialization and fields of work. You will be managing a team of three Supplier Quality Managers – one located in Poland. The team’s main task is to ensure an excellent quality of our products as well as a strong, fruitful cooperation with our suppliers. This is handled through e.g. quality assurance programs, supplier audits, monitoring of supplier performance, and by maintaining a close communication and dialogue with all suppliers. Since the team is of a limited size, it is important that you are ready to participate actively in the everyday tasks in the team. You can look forward to a wide portfolio of interesting and challenging tasks and your main focus will be to: Mange and lead the team Lead and carry out SQM activities Develop and maintain supplier Quality management processes in QMS Plan and carry out supplier audits Generate supplier quality metrics (collect, analyze, maintain & report) The deliveries and metrics you and your team deliver are an important part of the supplier evaluation, which is used on management level. You can expect some travel activity visiting suppliers in both Denmark and abroad. Strong management skills and considerable Q-experience In order to be a success in your new job we expect you to have an educational background on Master level from e.g. Electronics, Mechanics, or the like. On top of this you have several years’ of experience from an international company in which you have worked focused with supplier- and product quality management - preferably from a business within the area of medical devices. As a leader you have a proven track record and know what it takes to keep your team motivated and focused on achieving the common goals. You have excellent people and communication skills and this enables you to quickly become a highly appreciated and trustworthy partner – both among you colleagues and the external suppliers. On the personal level, you are characterized by your ability to actively drive work processes forward with great enthusiasm and dedication. You have superb analytical skills enabling you to quickly break down technical issues and processes and to communicate the result on to decisions makers in a simple and efficient way. You are highly structured but at the same time you also have a holistic approach allowing you to rise up above the common practices and seeing things and procedures from a new perspective.
