Tasks & responsibilities: You will...

...be involved in the tender phase for large offshore wind farm projects where you will be responsible for the preparation of our proposals in close collaboration with both internal stakeholders and the customer. In close collaboration with the Senior Sales Manager, you will project manage the bid and lead the bid team, making sure that deadlines are met, approvals obtained, and the bid team is motivated and focused.

You will also be responsible for:

• Manage customer bids, create customer offers and responses to RFXs according to agreed deadlines
• Influence bid tactics and co-create high impact value propositions in collaboration with SMEs
• Initiate corrective actions where necessary by forwarding planning and forecasting
• Review and revise documents prepared by internal stakeholders and coordinate the preparation of those materials
• Compile, edit, and proof read commercial proposals which contain commercial and technical content and ensure that these are presented in a professional and concise manner
• Facilitate the qualification of bids at the appropriate process stages using standard tools and techniques
• Produce and maintain all bid records in accordance with company processes to ensure the bid is auditable
• Flag any issues or risks to the appropriate stakeholders within the business
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and services, competitive landscape and trends within the offshore wind industry
• Constantly strive to improve both process and offerings to ensure a maximum competitiveness in the bidding phase

Skills & experience: Our new colleague...

...has experience with tender processes for large-scale power plants or other complex industrial projects. You hold a master's degree in Economics or Engineering. You have strong project management skills and can stay focused and maintain the overview even in hectic periods. It is extremely important that you have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and thrive in a role where you will work with many different internal stakeholders as well as customers.

The ideal candidate fulfils as many of the below requirements as possible:

• Proposal writing experience and excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Offshore wind industry knowledge
• Analytical thinker and a problem-solver
• Attention to detail and structured approach
• Strong project management skills - the ability to apply project management disciplines to achieve successful delivery within agreed parameters of timescale and quality
• Very high-quality standards - constantly seeking to challenge yourself
