Our analysis development team is looking for a devoted and dynamic individual with a strong interest in peptide and protein separation technology and who appreciates to combine practical laboratory work with theoretical understanding of protein chemistry and separation science. About the department Novo Nordisk Global Research is committed to the development of new pharmaceutical peptides and proteins to improve quality of life and treatment for patients. The Department of Protein Science is part of the Protein Engineering function area, involved in the discovery of human therapeutic proteins for treatment of diabetes and obesity in the early project phase to first human dose. Our analysis development team plays an important role in supporting research projects with analysis methods and we constantly aim to strengthen our competencies within peptide/protein separation technologies. The job You will contribute to multidisciplinary research projects and will play an important role in development and transfer of separation methods for analysis of peptide and protein samples to development departments. Your daily work will consist of planning, execution and documentation of scientific experiments in a highly independent manner. You will also take full responsibility for evaluation of complex data sets and reporting of results. You will also be involved in development of our competencies within peptide and protein separation technologies to meet future demands. Your daily work will involve extensive collaboration with colleagues in the department as well as across the organisation. Qualifications You hold a Master of Science (MSc) in analytical chemistry, protein chemistry, or a related discipline. You have a profound interest in chromatographic and electrophoretic separation techniques and analysis method development. Knowledge within method development using software such as Fusion AE is beneficial. You are comfortable in taking responsibility for complex tasks and to perform your work in an independent manner, but you are also a true team player and are keen on sharing your knowledge with others. You pay great attention to planning and execution of experimental work. Strong analytical skills and good abilities in data handling, documentation and reporting are expected.
