About the position
For our Analysis & Diagnostics team, we are looking for new talented colleagues to join us in developing the next generation digital products, where we are working with Big Data, PCA, Machine Learning and Neural Networks. The Analysis & Diagnostics team is a part of Technology, Service Development and consist of approximately 25 employees in Denmark, Spain and India. In the team, we are working on different projects/platforms like vibration diagnostics, service R&D, predictive model-based analysis, fleet performance and data warehouse. For the part of the Analysis & Diagnostics team in Brande, we are looking for a data analyst to work with ad-hoc analysis and statistics of turbine data, as part of the Fleet Performance platform.
With your analytical and statistical knowledge, you will generate useful intel to internal stakeholders and create browser-based apps by use of SQL, R and Matlab/Python.
What are my responsibilities?
As a Wind Turbine Data Analyst in Fleet Performance, you will be tasked with both small and large analytic tasks for reporting on fleet performance. With your ability to determine the criticality/business value for the precision of the statistical fleet performance, you can determine the time optimal analytic approach to the task. The team works in 2-week sprints with daily scrum meetings and some of your tasks will be changing for each sprint, e.g. support tasks related to your previously developed analytical tools. In this work you will be in contact with external suppliers and internal stakeholders.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- You have a MSc degree within the fields of electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics or physics.
- In your career, you have gained experience in statistical analysis and profound knowledge about scientific programming (Python, Matlab, R etc.), preferably from an industrial enterprise.
- Experience with Linux is a plus.
- You have an analytical and innovative mindset, and you are not afraid of working with terabytes of data.
- As a person you thrive in a dynamic working environment where tasks change frequently.
- As a person you focus on the value your work brings, rather achieving a 100% correct result.
- You are highly result-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- It comes naturally to you to build and maintain good and rewarding relationships.
- Furthermore, you possess excellent English skills, both orally and written.
