We develop the coolest automated industrial robots in the world and due to our talented and skilled group of employees and not least an outstanding team effort, we have positioned ourselves as a market leader within our field of expertise.
You will enter a new exciting position in our TechComm team that today consists of 4 fantastic employees. In the role as Technical Writer you will be based at our HQ in Odense and report to Technical Support Manager.
You will contribute to the continued development and maintenance of user guides, how-to guides, user-interface help texts and other material supporting the users’ experience of our robots and related products.
As we are a fast-growing company, development is of course happening at a high pace. This means that you will be part of a highly dynamic team where you will have to juggle multiple projects while still meeting ambitious quality goals and deliver on time.
Focus on communication and high quality
In this job you will
- collaborate with the rest of the TechComm team on the continuous development of content, terminology standards etc.
- cooperate closely with Subject Matter Experts across the organization, in particular the Technical Support team, Software and Hardware Development teams and Compliance team to ensure the content meets specifications and safety requirements.
- cooperate with UX Designers and Marketing to ensure clear and consistent communication to the markets.
- collect feedback from colleagues and distributors around the globe to evaluate if the material has the right level of simplicity or complexity for the end-users.
- prepare material for translation and collaborate with the translation agency to ensure timely translations in the right quality.
- help migrate material into our new content management system and continuously improve the quality of the content.
About you
Professional competencies
- You have professional experience with technical communication.
- You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication or journalism alternatively in computer or information science or related fields.
- Experience with single-source publishing and content management systems is a plus.
- Some experience with software development or web design is also welcomed.

- Strong English communication skills – perhaps native English speaker. English is our source language.
- Attention to detail.
- Curious of nature and comfortable with technology, not afraid to go and play with the robots yourself.
- Self-motivated and a strong collaborator.
- Passionate about communicating technical subject matter to different audiences.
- You thrive in a dynamic, international environment where deadlines can be tight, and everyone gives their best to reach the goals.
The Team
The TechComm team is a self-contained team within the Technical Support team and reporting to the Technical Support Manager. We have each our strengths and passions and like to reach the best solutions through collaboration and sometimes a good discussion.
