For our Engineering department at our EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) office in Brande, Denmark we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to provide information and technical support for project team members, customers, vendors and suppliers. The place of work will be in Ikast, Denmark. From 1st of February 2017 the workplace will be moved to Brande, Denmark. What are my responsibilities? As a Technical Project Manager you will be the person that connects all involved parties in the entire Project Execution phase. Making sure deadlines are kept and information is shared is essential. Furthermore, your responsibilities will cover: Identification of the sold product and translation into Bill of Materials Definition of deliverables and deadlines to and from the Project Execution Team Act as Single Point of Contact from Costumers and Site into the Engineering dept. Tracking turbine configurations and issues that require modifications Specifying project issue resolutions Providing disposition of equipment non-conformances Traveling to sites to provide technical guidance to Siemens site personnel as required Collect technical documentation when execution is complete What do I need to qualify for this job? You have a Bachelor degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar combined with relevant experience, including project management experience In addition, it would be an advantage if you have knowledge of wind turbine technology and tower manufacturing processes You are familiar with engineering disciplines associated with the design of wind turbines, and preferably with manufacturing practices for wind turbine and auxiliary component assemblies As a person, you are proactive and innovative, and you have a systematic and quality-oriented approach to your assignments as well as the ability to keep an overview even under pressure You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and thrive in an international environment Furthermore, you are fluent in English both orally and in writing In case you have acquired your skills in alternative ways your application is just as well appreciated.
