Then join the Area Management team and work in the EMEA HR business partner network. You will act as the local HR representative from your location - preferably Bjerringbro, which is the biggest of the 3 sales companies, but another Nordic country is also a possibility. Moreover, you will get a close sparring partner in the Area Managing Director, but on a day to day basis, you will have several touch points to both Sales Directors and other business partners. You refer to EMEA HR Director, Stephane Terrier. ”Very recently, we have decided to gather the Scandinavian countries in one Nordic area. We continue to strengthen our position of being one area instead of separate countries and the way we work emphasises this journey. Joining this area, you get the opportunity to strengthen us further and influence the direction we are going in,” Stephane explains. What is the job about? As our new HR Manager, you are overall responsible for ensuring the coordination and process harmonisation of all people-related services, tools and approaches. As such, you support the area’s business strategies and growth, organisations and employees as well as follow the overall Group & Regional HR guidelines and strategies. Furthermore, you ensure that we abide by the local Employment Law in our area and you stay on top of the HR Budget for the Area. An important part of your job is to create an excellent and streamlined recruitment process, focusing especially on leaders and key employees, as well as to create an excellent introduction programme. Moreover, you drive motivation programmes, Employee Dialogues to drive talent and competence development, and coordinate training needs. This takes you travelling within the Nordic countries and Europe in general, approximately 50-60 days a year. By focusing on the development of Grundfos employees, you map competences and possibilitiesfor growth. This allows you to implement changes and drive change management. “Rather than doing only transactional tasks, you also need to be able to assess, from an HR perspective, what the business needs are. Based on that, you set up an HR strategy to help the business find out what can increase sales and help the business grow. So an exciting challenge will be to discuss with the different managers possibilities for growth and profitability and convert the needs from the market into HR activities,” Stephane says. What do you need to apply? You have a degree in Human Recourses or similar, and it is an advantage if you also have some sort of business degree. Moreover, you have functional experience as HR Business Partner or HR Manager in an international organisation, and you know how to drive HR initiatives and change management initiatives through an organisation with great success. You are fluent in English and have excellent communication skills at all levels. Finally you also have experience with change management. “On a personal level, you are outgoing and show both authority and sympathy in your leadership skills. You have a high drive and set targets for your team, enabling you to build a high performance team. Your strong capability in moving towards long-term goals does not stand in the way of focusing on the short term wins. And finally, you thrive working with different cultures,” Stephane finishes.
