And would you like to use your technical competencies while driving a project from start to finish? Then this might be your stepping stone to do exactly that. You will join the Test Engineering department consisting of 18 colleagues and a network of consultants and sparring partners. We work with testing products, data distribution (integration) between inventory and production equipment/lines and finally measurement tools/metrology. Within these areas, we support the business with knowledge and solutions. You will refer to Department Manager Hans N. Søndergaard. “Our team is a good mix of technicians, engineers and project managers, and we have all the competences we need for our projects right at our disposal. All of your colleagues are relentlessly ambitious and will be looking to you to contribute with their technical skills in the projects you drive,” Hans says. Hvad drejer jobbet sig om? As Technical Project Manager, it is your job to specify measuring equipment within metrology for production sites in the Grundfos Group. You work with cross functional groups (Engineering, Quality, Tool Designer and Manufacturing) in new development projects to define the optimal measuring. Moreover, you are responsible for covering the demands of projects together with product developers as well as the factory needing the equipment the projects are producing. You receive sparring from specialists in order to specify the exact solution required in the project and that it lives up to quality and regulations. “You main challenge is to maintain the balance between being a project manager and contributing with your technical insight. It is you who drives the projects so being on top on time, cost, quality and processes is very important and so is your ability to discuss technical specifications and requirements with specialists” Hans explains. Hvad skal der til for at ansøge? You are a Mechanical or Quality Engineer with at least 4 years of experience in quality or manufacturing. Your English skills are solid in both speech and writing. If you have project management experience, we consider it a plus, and experience in Geometrical tolerance (GPS), process capability, mechanical processes or design of measuring equipment is preferred. “On a personal level, you possess a lot of drive as you will be driving the projects from beginning to end. It is important that you are able to challenge the way we do things as well as your colleagues in order to keep moving forward in the project. And finally, you need to be able to see when a risk requires an immediate decision to be made and for further action to be taken,” Hans finishes.
