Would you like to work with technical challenges from an operational viewpoint and see your work impacting the performance of our turbines? Join us as Technical Operations & Maintenance Lead in our department WTG Integrity Management and become responsible for securing WTG for Operations & Maintenance knowledge sharing across the entire DONG Energy Wind Power division and support technical contractual negotiations to achieve the best possible WTGs for the DONG Energy pipeline together with your three colleagues. Furthermore, you provide technical support for optimising our turbines operation. WTG Integrity Management is part of Global Operations in Wind Power, which has 1400 employees and is one of four business units in DONG Energy. Wind Power is the world’s largest developer and operator of offshore wind power, and we use our unique knowledge in all phases of our wind turbine projects. During the last 20 years, we have developed and constructed the largest portfolio of offshore wind farms in Northern Europe. You may choose freely to be based either at our office in Skærbæk near Fredericia or in Gentofte in the Greater Copenhagen area. You should, however, expect some travelling to our locations in Denmark and abroad in relation to your work. Areas of responsibility You handle our entire portfolio of wind turbines, including wind turbines from major suppliers. Your primary tasks are to secure best possible wind turbines requirements to ensure optimum operation and the best possible lifetime. Understanding the nature of negotiation and through firm WTG Operations & Maintenance knowledge succeed with securing the next generation of WTGs are meeting Operations & Maintenance and OPEX requirements will be the red line though your work. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: secure that all WTG related Operations & Maintenance issues are secured by utilising technical resources in the Operations & Maintenance organisation enforce and enhance Operations & Maintenance requirements for WTGs during the negotiation phase reduce OPEX by providing the best possible Operations & Maintenance requirements for future WTGs provide technical project management to secure the right issues are dealt with. Your profile You have a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering supplemented with theoretical knowledge of and practical experience in delivering results. It is considered an advantage if you have knowledge about and experience with project management. Additionally, you have solid theoretical and practical knowledge of the general wind turbine systems. Furthermore, it is advantageous if you have experience with WTG projects. Ideally, you have experience with turbines in operation and issues related to this. You have good communication skills and are able to speak and write English fluently, and it is an advantage if you speak and write Danish as well. It is important that you thrive in a job in a rapidly growing, multi-cultural project organisation where the only constant is change. In addition, you are able to plan your work and consider issues from the user's viewpoint. It is essential that you have an analytical approach to your work and the ability to understand technically complex issues.
