Join us and become Financial Analyst in our Group Performance Management team, which is part of Financial Planning & Analysis in Group Finance. We are a team of ambitious colleagues holding the overall responsibility of maintaining the long term financial forecast and providing management with financial and strategic analysis to support decision making. The department is part of our Group functions, which cover Group Support, Group Finance & Services and Group IT. In Group Finance & Services, we focus our efforts on supporting the entire business and ensuring that the company works as a professional, reliable and responsible company. You will be based at our office in Gentofte, Denmark. Areas of responsibility As Financial Analyst, you are responsible for the further development and maintenance of the performance management setup and for providing management with ad hoc analyses. In DONG Energy, key performance indicators are the focus of monthly discussions between CEO, Henrik Poulsen, and his direct reports, and serves as the back bone of the incentive based system. Furthermore, your key duties will be to: •drive yearly process to identify, select and define key performance indicators across the Group •challenge business units and groups on target setting •do deep dive analysis on specific performance management issues •prepare consolidated reporting to Group Management and Board of Directors •support HR in the performance reward calculations. Additionally, you participate in the department's other projects and help perform ad hoc analyses, such as capital structure and financial analysis. Your profile You hold a master’s degree in business administration, economy or engineering or equivalent and have a strong academic track record. Preferably, you have a couple of years of experience as an analyst or consultant, but it is not a prerequisite. Further, you hold sound knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint, and it is a prerequisite that you write and speak English. On a personal level, you are performance driven with a strong personal drive, determination and initiative. You do not hesitate to challenge consensus, you have a strong analytical mind-set, and you are not put off by complexity. Being a strong communicator with a sense for details will be valuable as your key deliverables will be reported directly to Group Management and to the Board of Directors. Finally, you show flexibility, as your work load may become relatively intense during busy periods.
