If yes, this might be the job for you. We are looking for a Team Leader for our Northern Europe Training Centre in Videbæk, Denmark. Global Service/Technical & Safety Training/NEU Training Centre Vestas Technical & Safety Training department deliver safety & technical training for a broad target group. Mainly, for technicians in the Vestas Service organization, Customers and Sub-contractors. We are responsible for: Forecasting and planning safety & technical courses in training centers and on site Conducting safety & technical courses, we deliver more than 60 different courses Documentation of archived competences & course follow up Development of education material Today we are total 78 employees in 6 training centers and represented in 13 countries. Responsibilities As Team Leader for our Northern Europe (NEU) Training Centre your main responsibilities will be to: Be a people manager for the 10 instructors in NEU Training Centers Lead, develop and retain team members; set objectives; coach and support Plan, organize and conduct technical and safety trainings Support the development and implementation of technical and safety trainings for different target groups Support TST Business and functional development priorities by providing support, guidance, and resources as necessary Take part in delegated projects / tasks Attend meetings regularly and participate in training-related discussions Continuously enhance technical instructional delivery and presentation skills. Communicate effectively with stakeholders Achieve Global Technical Safety Training (TST) KPIs and objectives Deployment of processes, tools and system for standardized and efficient (lean) working Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, engineering or equivalent attainment (electrical preferred ) 2 years of relevant work experience in similar position and ,ideally, experience from the wind energy industry Exceptional level of accurate and effective work performance Driver's license class B Competencies To be successful in this position we expect that you have: Experience with day-to-day management Technical experience Training experience would be an advantage Focus on safety Cultural awareness Fluent in both Danish and English Good MS office skills On the personal level you: Have good interpersonal and leader skills Capable of cooperating with colleagues in a professional and positive manner A proactive mindset and ability to keep an overview in stressed situations Problem solving and flexible Highly motivated, Self-driven, Open minded, Effective communicator What we offer A flexible and dynamic working environment with great deal of freedom in planning you own day Additional information Primary work location will be Videbæk, DK The position can require up to 25% of travel days per year.
