Since the P2P transformation project is defined as one of the strategic initiatives for Vestas it will provide Executive Management involvement and exposure. Global Sourcing is responsible for managing Vestas multiple billion EUR spend with external supplier’s world-wide. As part of the turnaround of Vestas, we have established a dedicated team of internal consultants and project managers to work with the line organization to implement a comprehensive and global “Procure to Pay” process in order to achieve operational excellence. The main areas of focus for improvements and cost savings with the Procure to Pay process are: •Full Value Chain scope •Procurement administration •Strategic sourcing •Vendor rationalization •Requisition / Order creation and approval and entry of goods/services receipt •Invoice processing and disputes management •Payment processing and remittance advice distribution The Procure to Pay process will deliver cost savings, efficiency gains, improved control, quality and visibility built into all process steps, increase in productivity and efficiency and payments are made on time in order to improve the supplier relationship. Do you possess a global mindset and a positive "can-do" attitude towards challenges? Responsibilities: Working closely with the global category teams, Vice Presidents of Sourcing, and all related stakeholders within the manufacturing, service and headquarter community; the Senior Consultant is leading the identification, prioritization and implementation of improvement areas for efficiency and process / tool excellence. With a total cost mindset you will be a change agent for new process designs, new IT technology and organizational changes. More specifically, the Senior Consultant will: •Assist the overall Project Lead in profiling, reviewing and designing state of the art procurement and sourcing process, supported by technology and tools; •Support and facilitate opportunity assessment and prioritization with a total cost approach; •Lead initiatives with project team members to secure successful implementation; •Manage project plans and follow up on business performance, conducting regular reviews with project team members; •Secure a professional and fact-based approach on performance related tracking •Be a change agent and secure capability building within the entire supply chain community and all cross functional partners through sparring, coaching, engaging with key stakeholders and the implementation of professional purchasing processes and tools. Qualifications: We are looking for an ambitious and experienced procurement / sourcing and / or finance profile with a proven track record within an international organization, who has though not essential, implemented a P2P process in the past. You have worked within an industrial company or a consulting firm dealing with complex and diversified procurement/sourcing assignments for at least 5-10 years. Furthermore, we are looking for a profile with a: •Ms.sc. Degree (or equivalent) in SCM, Engineering or Economics •“Total cost of owner
