Talented HW/SW QA Engineer for Medical Device Development

As QA Engineer in Device Research & Development (DRD), you will use your knowledge and personality to help DRD develop superior products that help people every day all over the world. DRD has a long and outstanding track-record of developing the best, most innovative and widely used injection devices in the world. In the development of medical devices, we ensure that user insight and innovation go hand in hand with a strong quality mind-set. About the department DRD quality is responsible for QA of development activities from ideas until transfer to production. We are in close cooperation with project managers and QA from other parts of Novo Nordisk and external partners. We also administrate the quality management system of DRD. You will join a group of nine skilled and engaged QA engineers and specialists that work inside the projects to secure compliance to procedures and regulations. We are located at a state-of-the-art R&D facility, where we make our innovations come true. The position You will support and influence DRD projects to help them meet the requirements from procedures and regulations. As member of a cross functional team you will ensure development of excellent products and design control documentation. You will work with all aspects of design control including project planning, prototypes, hardware, software, testing, usability studies, clinical test, risk analysis, product approval and inspections from health authorities. Qualifications You hold a relevant academic degree in Engineering and have working experience within Quality Assurance of hardware and software development for medical devices or other regulated industry. You have experience with outsourcing of such development activities. You have experience with Quality Assurance of computer systems. You keep yourself updated with the latest regulatory trends on new technologies like IoT, APP, cloud computing, NFC, Bluetooth LE. You are fluent in both written and spoken English on a professional level. You have a strong quality mind-set and are used to work in compliance with internal procedures and regulations. You are able to balance attention to details against the big picture when you make decisions. You are structured in your work and you are known to deliver on time. You quickly understand situations and dilemmas and are creative in finding solutions within procedural and regulatory constraints. You use facts to present your point of view and you focus on finding a result that is acceptable to all stakeholders and the company.
