Nets is looking for an ambitious strategy & transformation professional to support the Merchant Services (MS) Head of Transformation, MS CEO and rest of management team in identifying and implementing key value creation initiatives within Nets’ largest, fastest growing and most strategic business unit.

For the right candidate, this job will contain a unique exposure to our owners – world leading private equity and our senior management and influence one of the largest players in the European payment industry.

The position is placed in the Transformation department in Merchant Services, reporting to Head of Transformation

 

Growth, innovation and fast paced decision-making environment

You will take ownership of the overall execution of the transformation of the MS business through strong business acumen as well as analytical and fact-based thinking.

Your key responsibilities in this role will be:

• Support identification and execution of value creation and operational improvement initiatives:
  • Create deep business insights, strategies and tactics based on analysis of group wide opportunities and best practices.
  • Provide content support (ad-hoc analysis, pro-active insight generation).
  • Work on strategy formulation deployment in a manner that builds understanding and creates ownership.
  • Support the Head of Transformation and leadership team (MS CEO, H&F Operating Partner) in their management of key value creation initiatives as well as on-going performance management of key countries and company functions.
• Actively participate and drive parts of the overall M&A agenda for Nets Group and MS by:
  • Lead parts of commercial due diligence and process across MS on acquisition targets
  • Participate in negotiations and deal structuring
  • Lead post-merger-integration planning & execution together with target & Nets management team

Your professional background and qualifications should overall include:

• Relevant Master’s degree, preferably within strategic and commercial management
• 2-3 years of relevant experience within strategy and business development e.g. as top tier management consultant and being a consistent top performer in your role
• Experienced in leading and managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, internal and external
• Experience from developing and presenting business cases incl. analytical work and calculations in cooperation with finance and commercial owners
• Preferably experience with M&A (pre and post deal)

  • However, able and willing to tolerate and if necessary drive conflict when needed
  • Knows how to get stuff done in ambiguous, executive settings, and how to prioritize and deliver as promised
